Trent Decatur is the Founder and Managing Director of Global Technology Alliance (GTA) based out of Hong Kong with operations throughout China, Hong Kong, United States and Mexico. Mr. Decatur has been developing cross boarder partnerships on behalf of some of the largest manufacturing interest in the world, bringing international business intelligence and extensive experience in cross-border partnerships and investments in China.
Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, Decatur received his undergraduate degree from Purdue University, where he was a four your letterman in football as a Linebacker for Purdue University. He received his MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
GTA is an international manufacturing, supply chain and distribution firm which specializes in technical sales of electronic components, medical devices, telecommunications, automotive and consumer electronics. GTA has been successful in developing partnership-alliance activities in outsourcing, product innovation and development, joint venture, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment of new supply and distribution relationships through a well established network of U.S. and Asian firms.
Mr. Decatur has extensive work experience throughout China having been involved in working with many of the largest manufacturing interests throughout Asia. Areas of focus include global and cross-border executive management, strategic corporate planning, business development, project management oversight and the management of China operations on behalf of U.S. companies.
